Yoni Massage: Massaging the “Sacred Temple”
What does the word “yoni” mean?
Yoni is actually the Sanskrit word given to translate the word vagina. It is loosely equivalent to “sacred temple” or “sacred space”. In Tantra, the word Yoni is associated with respect and love.
Getting started
Before the massage is started, the masseuse should first make sure that the woman has enough space for her to relax. When she is at ease and relaxed, she can be able to reach a higher state of arousal and experience a very great pleasure from her Yoni experience. Moreover, this kind of experience is believed by sex therapists to have the ability to break through trauma or sexual blocks.
The goal
Its main goal is not primarily focused on assisting the female client to orgasm. Its goal is mainly to massage the Yoni and provide pleasure. However, in order to actually achieve this, both the client and the masseuse should not have themselves concentrating on achieving a particular goal. This way, when orgasm is reached, it feels more intense, which, in turn, is more satisfying.
Positioning
Before anything else, have the client lie down on her back and place pillows right under her head part. This way, she can easily look down on her genitals. Place another pillow under her hips, but make sure that his pillow is wrapped with a towel first. Have her spread her legs apart from each other and advise her to keep her knees slightly bent. If she finds this instruction difficult, merely place a pillow or any kind of cushion under her knees. After doing so, the masseuse can now have a clear view of the client’s genitals.
Breathing
Before applying any pressure to the body, the client must first be advised to take some slow and relaxing breaths. The process of the Yoni massage must never be rushed. When the masseuse notices that the client is starting to breath shallowly, the massage will be stopped and tells the client to breathe deeply again.
The massage
Start the massage by stroking the abdomen, legs, breasts, and the thighs. This lets the client relax before the masseuse comes in contact with her Yoni. Pour some oil or type of lubricant on the mound part of the Yoni and then being massaging the mound and the external lips of the Yoni. The massage therapist must make sure that the oil is just enough that it drops down to the external lips and covers the entire outside part of the Yoni.
Gently squeeze the external lips using the index finger and the thumb by sliding in an up and down motion. The same procedure should then be done to the internal lips of the Yoni. To make sure that the necessary pleasure and satisfaction is provided, the masseuse should ask the client if the pressure needs to be decreased or increased. However, the inquiries should not be done constantly because time for conversations should be highly limited. The main focus should be on the pleasurable sensations. Talking too much will only diminish the desired effect.
