Stages of Aum Meditation

Aum meditation process comprises twelve different stages. Each stage lasts for about 10-15 minutes and take you on a journey into emotional awareness. These 12 stages take the participant through a journey that involves every human emotion like love, anger etc. For each stage different music is designed, which is quite uplifting. So are you ready to begin your journey?

Aum Meditation's First Stage: RETURN TO HELL

The first stage of aum meditation gives you space to put all your negativity, all your anger and all your frustrations. In this stage you stand in front of a person and shout at him with all your power. You need not listen to what the other person says or shouts. You can move to any number of persons.

This stage opens the door for love and gives you an opportunity to come closer to people. Thus by unloading your stress and fear you experience a power in yourself.

Aum Meditation's Second Stage: HEAVEN

The second stage of aum meditation is just the opposite of the first stage. In this stage you turn all the energy around to love. You stand in front of a person and express your love towards him, hold his hands, look into his eyes and say, “I love you”. You can move to any number of persons and express all the love and appreciation you have for them.

In this stage, by expressing your love and by hearing that you are lovable you feel nourished.

Aum Meditation's Third Stage: SECOND WIND

In the third stage of aum meditation you increase your energy levels. You run on a spot with your arms up, knees lifted high and feet making a contact with earth along with everybody. To stay connected with others look at each other, make a sound and feel the support.

This stage gives you a feeling that you have more energy than your imagination and that you can go beyond your limits.

Aum Meditation's Fourth Stage: KUNDALINI RISING

Stand with the feet grounded on the floor and shake your whole body. Close your eyes. Starting with the knees shake your whole body, but don't forget to keep your head and jaw loose.

This stage takes you in a state of happiness and well being by loosening all the stress and tensions in the body.

Aum Meditation's Fifth Stage: CUCKOO”S NEST

In the fifth stage of aum meditation you express your madness or craziness. You move, breathe and make a sound. You are free to do anything from shouting, screaming, throwing tantrum or even crying. Act like a mad but don't hurt yourself or others.

In this stage by expressing your craziness or madness you stay normal.

Aum Meditation's Sixth Stage: FREE

As the name itself suggests that you are free to celebrate your life. You dance along with the music in a relaxed way expressing your inner experience through your body.

After sixth stage you will find happiness coming up from within you.

Aum Meditation's Seventh Stage: CRYING

During the seventh stage of aum meditation you sit by yourself or with a partner and cry. You can think about all the pains you had in your life, make a soft sound and hold yourself.

In this stage by crying you begin to heal your pain and move away from depression towards happiness.

Aum Meditation's Eighth Stage: LAUGHING

The eighth stage is just the opposite of seventh stage. In this stage your switch the energy around you and laugh. Even if you are not in a mood of laughing you giggle, move and make a sound.

Laughter is a medicine and in this stage by laughing your body and mind starts healing.

Aum Meditation's Ninth Stage: DANCE OF THE LOVERS

In the ninth stage of aum meditation you dance in a sensual or sexy way either with yourself or a partner. You imagine the person you are dancing with as your lover and flirt with him.

This stage gives you a chance to experience your sexy side.

Aum Meditation's Tenth Stage: CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE

In the tenth stage of aum meditation you stand in a circle along with others, look at the light of the candle placed in the middle and chant the sound of AUM.

In this stage by chanting the sound of AUM, the sound of the universe you feel calm and peaceful as the sound AUM assimilates your experience of meditation.

Aum Meditation's Eleventh Stage: WOWING

In the eleventh stage of aum meditation you sit alone with eyes open or closed and do nothing.

Doing nothing and sitting quiet leaves you in a WOW or a winner state.

Aum Meditation's Twelfth Stage: NAMASTE AND HUGGING

In the twelfth and final stage of aum meditation, you go to everyone, hold your hands in an Indian greeting position, look into their eyes, say ‘NAMASTE' and then hug them. Greet each person in the room and thank them for sharing the aum meditation.
