Reflexology Charts or Maps and Reflexology Zones

Our foot contains over 7,200 nerve endings and is one of the most sensitive parts of the body. These nerve endings are stimulated during a pressure technique called reflexology. Our foot is a miniature representation of the whole body with body parts laid out in a similar arrangement on the feet.

Reflexology is based on the theory that vital energy is channeled along various lines throughout the body, which are known as zones. These reflexology zones run throughout the body starting from top of the head and ending at fingers and toes. The right foot represents the right side of the body, and the left foot the left side. The spleen located in the left of the body, has its reflex point only in the left foot whereas a paired organ such as the lungs will have its reflex point in both feet.

Given below are some reflexology charts or maps, which show the reflex zones found on the sole of the feet.
