Raindrop Therapy-Technique
What you need for Raindrop Therapy-Technique?
For the Raindrop Therapy-Technique, all you Need is :
- Massage table or a comfortable, flat surface for the recipient to lie on. The surface should be high enough that the facilitator can perform the technique without back strain, which should be covered with sheets or towels that are expendable as several of the oils may stain certain fabrics.
- Two medium-sized towels and a twin-sized bed sheet. The towels will be used to make a warm compress; the sheet to protect the modesty of the recipient.
- Easy access to hot water.
- Timer, clock, or watch.
- A stable tray on which to place oils near the receiver.
- Each of the raindrop essential oils listed above.
To begin with the Raindrop Therapy-Technique:
- The recipient should lie on their back, face up on the massage table with the head resting in the face cradle. He should lie as straight as possible with the hips flat on the table. The arms should rest alongside the body.
- The facilitator should keep constant physical contact with the recipient to prevent feelings of insecurity, anxiousness, or abandonment.
- Check for evenness of feet and in the length of the legs. Hold recipient's ankles just below the shinbone with the index finger of each hand touching the center of the outside anklebone. While holding the ankles in this position, the thumbs of the facilitator should be even with one another. Unevenness could indicate a pelvic rotation or structural misalignment
Raindrop Technique can be customized to address different health issues that are not directly related to back problems. Lung infections, digestive complaints, hormonal problems, liver insufficiencies, and other problems can all be dealt with by substituting standard Raindrop Therapy-Technique Essential Oils with other oils that are specifically targeted for that body system.
When customizing Raindrop Technigue, you will generally want to start with the Valor, oregano, and thyme. These three oils form the basis of all Raindrop applications. The other essential oils such as basil, wintergreen, marjoram, thyme, or cypress can be omitted or replaced by essential oils specific for the condition being treated. For example, if a lung infection is present, basil and wintergreen should be replaced with ravensara, cypress replaced with Eucalyptus radiata, and marjoram replaced with mountain savory. There are several variations to the basic Raindrop Technique. These variations are not easy to explain and require class instruction and demonstration.
