Kidney stones are mineral deposits made up of calcium, uric acid or the amino acid cysteine in urine found inside the kidneys or ureters. They are hard masses that can grow from crystals forming within the kidneys. They can be as small as a grain of sand or big as a golf ball. - The best natural remedy for kidney stone is water. Keep drinking water even if you are not thirsty and active physically. Lots and lots of water for all types keep your kidneys flushed. It decreases, or dilutes, the concentration of substances that can contribute to the formation of new kidney stones or to the enlargement of existing kidney stones Drink enough water to make you have to urinate every hour or two, and the urine should look almost clear.
- Orange juice is one of the natural remedies for kidney stones, which will cause the tudes from the kidney to enlarge, thus passing the stone. Cranberry juice has been shown to reduce the amount of ionized calcium in the urine by over 50% per cent in patients with recurrent kidney stones. Keep drinking the cranberry juice to, to help flush your kidneys and water.
- Magnesium and vitamin B6 is used by the body to convert oxalate into other substances, so these supplements reduce the risk of kidney stones Deficiency of these leads to stone formation, hence eating potassium rich foods through fruits and vegetables such as barley, potatoes, wheat flour, cauliflower and banana can help avoid stone formation. - Apple juice is also a natural remedy for getting rid of kidney stones. Drink apple juice for two days, then at the end of two days drink 6 ounces of olive oil and 6 ounces of pure lemon juice, separately or combined. Drinking lemon aide every day also helps.
- Make a tea out of Watermelon Seeds. Just simmer the seeds in water until it starts to turn the water to color. Cool and add some sugar if you like. But it is difficult to drink without some sweetener. You may drink it hot like hot tea.
- An herb called Chanca Piedra helps to break up stones in the gallbladder and the kidneys. Daily intake of 25 grams of fresh juice of parsley 3 times and 30 min before meals is also a natural remedy for kidney stones. The balanced diet is must, avoiding too much dairy foods and mean, all those protein impede the natural kidney functions.
