Another kidney stone symptoms are presence of blood in urine. This occurs if kidney stone is too large to move easily into bladder. Large kidney stone gets blocked wall of ureter, which tries to squeeze the stone into bladder. This movement causes the appearance of blood in urine. As this large kidney stone moves down ureter and closer to bladder, there is feeling of frequent urination and often accompanied by burning sensation.
Other kidney stone symptoms may include:
- Bloody, cloudy or foul-smelling urine
- Persistent urge to urinate
- Fever and chills if an infection is present
- Nausea
- Vomiting
If fever and chills accompany any of these kidney stone symptoms, an infection may be present. In this case, you should contact a doctor immediately.
