The chance of pregnancy during menopause is because ovulation process does not stop with the start of menopause. The ovulation process may take some time to stop. The possibility of irregular mentration or menstruation may be mistaken to menopause. The stopping ovulation may take over a year. Special care should be taken during the average age of menopause, which varies for every woman. The average age may between mid forties to mid fifties. This period referred to as perimenopause. Menopause is most difficult time for every woman, both physically and emotionally. During healthy menstration estrogen and progesterone are produced and they perform very important tasks. But with on set of perimenopause there is reduction or no production of progesterone, which results in excess estrogen resulting in hormonal imbalance. But there is also feel of lost of fertility and youth.
